Ever since I updated my watch to the latest big update on April 15th, my Galaxy watch 7 will get stuck on measuring oxygen.
It starts at 0% and goes all the way to 99% and then stays at 99% indefinitely. I have to close it and try it again. My factory reset my watch but nothing fixes it. Is anyone else having this issue with the new update of Galaxy watch 7?

That is exactly the problem I am having. This is for sure a bug and I hope Samsung we'll fix it immediately. It has been almost 2 weeks that I have not had that function with my new watch

I got my watch 7 update to OneUI6.0 months ago and have no issues.  I have not gotten any kind of recent update, security patch or otherwise.  My Oxygen sensor works perfectly, even with the watch case I have over it. You must touch the button very lightly and hold perfectly still otherwise it interrupts the reading.  Did you clear your watch cache after the update? This is always good practice to do so.  You also have the option to factory reset your watch and restore your backup.

Also, how often do you need to measure your blood oxygen manually that this is a problem?  The oxygen is measured continuously during sleep and is part of your sleep record.  Very, very, very few people have conditions where they must continually manually measure their oxygen levels, and those people have pulse oximeters.  If you are not turning blue, you do not need to measure.

You are funny realaud. It's okay if you don't understand as it doesn't look like you've received the patch that we have. You see, every night as part of Samsung health, It measures your sleep by heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood oxygen. It happens every night and then gives you a score for your energy. Ever since the update it cannot measure oxygen and so that part is blank. Then, when you actually try to measure it it does what we had mentioned of getting all the way to 99% but freezes

I obviously did not receive any update to my watch.  I understand it only went to BT only versions and I have LTE.  Also, you did not make it clear that the oxygen wasn't working in sleep.  Your photos made it appear the measurement was stopping when using the manual measurement. In the meantime, fortunately for me, mine still works perfectly.  Oh, and I turned the energy score off, because it's a totally useless measurement and I don't need it bouncing up in my face when I check my sleep stats.  PS.  It is *still* good practice to clear the watch cache after an update - at the very least reboot it.

You're right, that's a good practice. I did clear the cache after I reset the watch.
If I didn't make it clear, The oxygen is not working in any way on the watch, Not manually or automatic. It has stopped all together.

Have you put in an error report?  While looking here for fixes and workarounds will generally get you fixed up, some things require direct input to Samsung, this being one of them. While the moderators may flag some posts for the developers to look at, the only way Samsung is going to sit up and take notice is if they get a multitude of error reports on the same issue.  Not from a lot of complaining in Reddit or this, or any other, forum.  To put in an error report, go to the support tab of the members app, tap "send feedback", tap the circled arrow on the bottom right (your log will be collected), choose your issue (choose "accessory"), answer the frequency question and state your issue.  Attach any photographs or files and allow the system logs to be uploaded then tap the circled arrow on the top right to send it all. Photos are optional but helpful, the log is always necessary for a problem of this nature. You will usually get a response in about a week.

Thanks realaud. I did put in a report on the 21st. They said they would get back to me. It would be nice if I could revert back the update until they get the new one fixed

Nothing I did fix it. They finally gave me a label and I sent it in. It now works. It's strange because it only stopped after an update. I don't understand why a software update could break it, but it had to be hardware fixed.
