I have posted 3 times about my s21 not getting firmware updates and each time the feed gets closed when I get some generic answer that has no resolution to my issue. I finally found my answer but I have 40 years of IT experience behind me. The least you can do is follow up with me before saying the solution given is right. I have 3 examples of this being misleading and could have had lasting reprocusions to somebody that did not know what I do. Also why tell me it's a carrier issue when my carrier doesn't push updates. Also last I looked the name Samsung was on this phone so shouldn't that be a Samsung issue to fix?

Not by straight talk and apparently once you flash the firmware to unlock from T-Mobile it will opt out

Your carrier is the one that pushes the update out so if you haven't received your update you need to talk to them.

I'm sorry that you're having issues.

Samsung does release the majority of it's updates to carriers so that they can test it on their network before passing it on to their customers. This is especially true with firmware and even more so if you have an AT&T or Verizon Samsung phone.

As others said the updates go to the carriers to be tested and released
