What happen to App Protection on the Tab S9 Ultra?

Since installing One UI 7 I no longer see App Protection under Device Care. This automatically checks your tablet for malware.

I still have this option on the S24 Ultra with One UI 7 but not my Tab S9 Ultra.

App protection is in Security and Privacy, where it should be.

Who are you? You are treating us like kids who don't know. We tried everything before posting here. Why don't you provide more info on what went wrong with the update. This issue is not on us

I have the same issue with my Tab S9 it disappeared after ONE UI 7. It's regular on my S24+ no changes only on my tablet I checked everywhere. When I hit device care app protection is no where to be found and I scan it through Google Play Protect

Look for the setting in Security and Privacy, where it belongs. And read before you post, you just might find the answer before you ask the question.

You did not state you read the answer and it did not apply to your situation.  Have you rebooted the tablet after the update?  Have you cleared the cache partition?  If that doesn't help, a backup, reset, restore should do the trick.

I rebooted the system and will definitely try the other options, and my bad for not being more transparent about it, I appreciate all the info

Same here after latest One UI 7 upgrade it disappeared on my Galaxy Tab S8+. Don't tell me it's there. I looked everywhere. And where it's supposed to get configured in App Security, I only see Google's
Play Protect. Samsung's App Protection is gone

On both my Tab S8U and Fold 6 under Security and Privacy the only app protection I know of is Play Protect which is under the App Security heading under the Security and Privacy section of Settings.  If you're referring to something else or don't see App Security then Reproduce the issue and then open the Samsung Members app, click on Support (Lower right)->Feedback->Send Error Report,  Remember to check on "Send System Data Log" 

I never used Samsung's App protection powered by McAfee so I don' t know if it was even on my devices in OneUI 6 but it is possible it was deprecated in OneUI  7.  In any case to get this to someone who can actually do something about it, submit an error report as outlined above.
