Apple vs Samsung vs Chromebook

I’ve been having lots of issues deciding, so I’ve decided to let someone else decide, which brand should I get? I also want positives and negatives for both pls. I’ve posted identical questions in APPLE, Samsung sand Google community.

I would never get a Chromebook. Everything is in the cloud which means subscriptions for everything. They are inexpensive for sure, but you end up paying for everything after the fact. And unless you have experience with MacOs, it's a big learning curve.

Apples also going to break my bank. :bank: is SAMSUNG nay good tho? Everything I own is Apple.

If everything you have is Apple, you should stick with the compatibility, unless you are looking to make a gradual shift. I can't speak to the issue of Samsung computers, because I never used one. I was scoping one out when looking for my current laptop, and decided against it for reasons having nothing to do with its performance.

@NotImportant123 I've used a Chromebook for work. They are handy devices which have similar capability to other laptops. Contrary to belief they have physical storage like other devices and do not require any more cloud subscriptions than any other one.

I love how quick Samsung replies 😀 I’m still waiting for APPLE and GOOGLE to reply. Thank you SAMSUNG community for making me feel so welcome. My budgets $450.

I don't think you are going to find a Samsung for that price.  I just bought an Asus Vivobook for less than that, and I like it very much.

There is a laptop for every budget when it comes to Windows, that can't be said for Apple, unless you but an older machine.

It also depends on what you want to use it for.

That's one of the reasons why I passed on the Samsung.  For my minimal usage, I didn't need to spend that much money. I did have a notion that it might replace my aging desktop, but then I decided, nah.
